Easing myself back into things after some time away, I've returned to a track of mine that I've always been very keen on. "Escapades" was my homage to Electronic and more specifically, their 1989/1990 hit, "Getting Away With It".

The demo for Escapades first took shape in 2018 and a version of that demo appeared on Dream Chimney's Demo Tracks Vol. 2 compilation, then titled "Night Life". After that, it was a bit more fleshed out and became "Escapades", which appeared on my album, Great Blue.

Now, it's here again in a newly revised form. It's strange to think that the origins of this track can be traced back five years. Think of this as a celebration for the 5th anniversary of the track. In that spirit, I've also included an all-new B-Side, "The Getaway", which serves as a further homage to Electronic (and may in fact be better than Escapades). In addition, I've included two alternate mixes of the titular single; an extended mix with further guitar and a beach mix that both warms things up and slows them down.
