A non-album single featuring a track that arose during the production of my upcoming full-length album, One True World, “Sweet Summer Kiss”.

I didn’t plan to release this one as a single but I’m such a fan of it and it’s such a fitting song for the start of summer, I thought I would spotlight the track a bit before it ends up on the release of b-sides and outtakes from the upcoming album. Yes, that’s correct. Not only is a full album coming, I’ll be releasing a number of tracks that didn’t make the cut as well.

Back to Sweet Summer Kiss; I sample/interpolate/re-work myself on this one, using the chords and vibraphone from my song, “Mirage”. The track is dedicated to Elvis Presley, as the title was inspired by his track “Summer Kisses, Winter Tears”, and the song’s feel and structure was informed by “Summer Kisses/In My Body” from the Elvis film soundtrack. "Don't Fly Away" by Elvis and PNAU from the soundtrack also informed the direction of track. The Bliss Mix strips things back a bit, bringing the rhythm guitar to the front, while the muscular beat is backed up with new age ambiences.
