In the distance, you hear the faint sound of waves and music. There, a cabana exists, where a band plays and the sun never quite sets...

Faint Waves is happy to present Cabana Edits, Vol. 3. This is the third entry in my Cabana Edits series of EP's, a series in which I put a new spin on previously released tracks of mine. The ideology behind the Cabana Edits series is to re-interpret or re-imagine songs in a more warm and timeless sort of way, while preserving the original intent of the material. Taking inspiration from lounge, exotica, and deep house records; Cabana Edits sees songs receiving a new treatment, in terms of both mixing and instrumentation.

As with every entry, I've switched things up ever so slightly. Cabana Edits, Vol. 3 features two guitar-centric tracks and two non-guitar tracks getting the Cabana Edit treatment. It was nice to touch up and re-imagine these tracks a bit, I hope you enjoy this new installment in my Cabana Edits series.

On a different note, the day is finally here. This is the last Faint Waves outing I have planned at this time! Since May, I've talked about how I'm going to take some time away and at last, it's finally at hand. With Cabana Edits, Vol. 3 out of the way, I take my leave, however long or short it ends up being.
